Becky leads our appropriations strategies for accessing government funding for all of our clients. With nearly fourteen years of experience in federal, state and local government she knows first-hand how to secure funds for growing businesses, academic institutions and non-profit organizations. Most recently, Becky served as the Appropriations Director for U.S. Senator Mike DeWine, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee. She managed thousands of project requests each year, assessing which should be a priority, advising on which earmark accounts match project descriptions, and working closely with the Appropriations Committee to secure hundreds of millions of dollars for projects throughout Ohio. Prior to the six years of work with Senator DeWine’s office, she worked as a Legislative Aide in Columbus for former Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives Jo Ann Davidson. She also worked for Judge Patrick Carroll while serving as a Court Bailiff in the Lakewood Municipal Court. Her expertise in government funding and experience in both federal and state government makes Becky a rare gem in the field of government affairs.
