Sarah has almost a dozen years of experience in government affairs. She served as the Legislative Assistant for Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur, who is a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee and managed all her health and social policy development and funding projects. Sarah steered millions of dollars in government funding toward numerous initiatives in Ohio. Previously, Sarah also worked for Congressman Paul Kanjorski as his Legislative Assistant where she managed similar initiatives as well as defense, foreign affairs and the Government Reform and Oversight Committee. She has worked as a government affairs specialist working with the Administration and Congress in introducing clients to Federal Departments and Agencies, developing relationships with Congress, researching and identifying grant opportunities, and securing funding for a range of organizations throughout the country. With her vast experience in both policy development and appropriations on Capitol Hill and advocating for a range of organizations and businesses, Sarah brings valuable government expertise to G2G.
